S. Family- Couple's session in Denver CO

Dreaming of summer over here.  We are expecting another snow storm this weekend so I am hunkering down and getting some of this blogging out of the way.  These two are just beautiful.  They joined me in my 2nd ever lake session back in August.  There is something so beautiful about jumping into the water with your clothes on. I will be announcing my 2017 lake sessions in a few weeks!

Monet, Ryan + Lucy | Maternity Session in Denver Colorado |

Because of the difference in images in the adorable family's gallery they are getting two blogs.  Monet is an amazing birth photographer here in Denver and I was a tiny bit (a lot-a-bit) nervous to have her and her family in front of my camera.  They couldn't have been more natural though and they made my job so easy.  I really love maternity photography, more so than any other type of photography.  There is something so beautiful with a mom going through this beautiful transition into a mother, even if it's for the 2nd, 3rd or 4th time.  Pregnancy is such a personally life changing time and no pregnancy is the same.  I really believe that every mom should have this chapter documented with every child.  

There is seriously nothing more beautiful than seeing your family expand.

R. Family | Family Lifestyle Session on Mt. Lemmon AZ

I met Haylea in a local photography group when I was still living in Tucson.  She and I became fast friends and I consider her one of my best friends!  I really LOVE photographing other photographers, photographer families are just naturals in front of the camera.  I can such minimal directing, if any at all.  I don't really do much directing in my sessions anyway, I kind of just plop people in a field and tell them to interact with each other, but R. Family just made it so easy.  I highly recommend checking out some of Hayley's gorgeous work on her website   I hope when I am in Tucson later this year I can get them in front of my camera again.  

Jessie and Jon | Maternity Session on Mount Lemmon Arizona

Wow!  It feels like forever since I have blogged!  I have had so many sessions recently I need to get caught up so I don't get too behind and just give up!!!  Here is a beautiful maternity session with Jon and Jessie.  I have been so lucky to document so many of their life events!  I had the honor to document their engagement session, their wedding and we've had a couple other sessions here and there.  WELL NOW THEY ARE HAVING A BABY!!!  I am so excited for their little guy to join the world!  Fingers crossed everything falls into place so I can sneak in one last birth story before we move to Denver.  

Jessie and Jon have always been troopers with me. I am so honored that they have always trusted my artistic eye!  Congratulations you two!!  You are going to be amazing parents!!!!

Becca and Sean | In Love | Pecan Orchards in Tucson Arizona

These two.. what can I say?  They squeezed me in last minute before they move across the country.. literally the movers were at their house a hour before we met.  They are seriously some of the sweetest people I have ever met.  I hope you guys have a safe move and enjoy your new home, Arizona will definitely miss you!!

James and Elle | Engaged in Tucson

Back in January I only blogged part of this session.  What I didn't blog was their engagement!  This was such a wonderful evening for me.  Being able to document special memories like this are why I love doing what I do.  Congratulations Elle and James!!  

Melanie and Caleb | Expecting in Tucson

Melanie and Caleb have been great friends for a couple of years. They are the only people we trust with our fur baby Pocket, he loves visiting their house when we go out of town.  Melanie is due in July with their second little one and I am so beyond thrilled for my amazing friends!!

Rachel and Stan | In Love in Tucson

I have photographed Rachel and Stan a few times before.  I did their lovely engagement photos a few years ago and followed up with some Maternity and Documentary photos a couple years later.  

This session was such an amazing experience for me.  Their session is the start of my new path.  They have trusted me from the very beginning and now I am hoping they love their gallery as much as I do!
